A special event of international communion, marked by faith in Jesus Christ and devotion to the Archangel, took place in the Sacred Grotto on July 22: with the Eucharistic Celebration and solemn blessing, the Pilgrimage of the replica of the Statue of Saint Michael to Brazil officially began.
The ceremony was attended by the Archbishop of Manfredonia-Vieste-San Giovanni Rotondo, Most Rev. Franco Moscone, and the Bishop of Paracicaba, Most Rev. Devair Araùjo de Fonseca. Together with the Rector of the Shrine, Fr. Ladislao Suchy, they signed the certificate of delivery of the statue, which will travel to numerous communities and locations across the great South American nation.
The initiative and its apostolate were promoted by the religious of the Hesed Institute of Fortaleza.
