The Hour of Mercy… on TV

Every day at 3:00 PM in the Sacred Grotto, the Hour of Mercy is celebrated: the Chaplet that Jesus entrusted to Sister Faustina Kowalska is sublimated by the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.

The Eucharistic presence and the prayer of forgiveness: two elements that testify to God’s love and strengthen the identity of the Basilica of Saint Michael as the antechamber to Heaven (“Haec est Porta Coeli”) and the first sanctuary of Mercy (“Where the rock opens, sins will be forgiven”).

This is a spiritual event that draws numerous faithful, both physically and through the live streaming service on the Shrine’s YouTube channel.

Strengthening the profound bond of faith and brotherhood that unites the two places of worship of the Prince of Angels and the Holy Capuchin with the stigmata, starting Monday, August 4, the Chaplet will also be broadcast on Padre Pio TV (channels 145 DVB-T and 445 DVB-S): an additional tool to convey the message of “Quis ut Deus” and the Archangel’s closeness to the many faithful and devotees scattered throughout Italy and around the world.
