The spiritual journey of preparation for the Feast of the Apparitions of St. Michael will begin on Monday 29 April.
By choosing the Monte Sant’Angelo Cave as his earthly home, the Archangel first became close to the inhabitants of our beloved Gargano and, by then spreading his cult throughout the Christian West, he ensured patronage and protection to all men who accepted his message.
He invites us to constantly search for the Most High, the only true good of our life and the final goal of our pilgrimage: the novena, thus, presents itself as a precious opportunity to get closer to our Creator and meet him, through the mediation of the Celestial Patron, in prayer and sharing.
The nine days leading to the Dies festus on May 8 will be marked by meditations, proposed by Fr. Adamo Sitarz, who are inspired by the theme “With Saint Michael we rediscover the beauty and vitality of prayer”: in this Year dedicated precisely to prayer, this path will represent a further and worthy stage of preparation for the Jubilee of 2025.
The program includes:
at 5.30 pm the Crown to San Michele Arcangelo;
at 6.15 pm, the Eucharistic celebration.
