“Love for neighbor”: the thought of Sunday

Fifteenth Sunday of ordinary time.

Love for God and neighbor is the essential Christian and the soul of the commandments.

With the parable of the Good Samaritan, Jesus explains today who is next.

Unlike the priest and the Levite, the Samaritan helps those in need: he does not ask who he is, where he comes from, why he is there, but offers him concrete and disinterested help, despite being a foreigner.

Jesus is like the good Samaritan who lifts up sinful men.

The Archangel will protect us and the Spirit will guide us and help us take care of whoever is in need, without distinction or prejudice to make our life truly eternal and true.
