“Welcome Jesus into your heart”: the rector’s Christmas greetings

“God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that whoever believes in him may not perish but have eternal life” (Jn 3:16)

With renewed amazement we contemplate Christ Jesus in the mystery of his Incarnation.

The Son of the Eternal Father leaves Heaven, takes upon himself the human body from the Blessed Virgin Mary and descends among us so that God’s love, becoming visible to our eyes, can be welcomed in the heart.

He not only came to earth, but he stayed with us and will remain there “every day until the end of the world”.

May his peace penetrate into the depths of our hearts, so that we can resist the temptations of doubt and discouragement in the face of the evil and difficulties we are experiencing in today’s world, severely tested by the pandemic.

Grateful for the gift of your presence and devotion, I wish each of you a Merry Christmas and a New Year, finally free from fears and anxieties.

P. Ladislao Suchy
