Revelation of God and brotherly love are the dominant motifs of the liturgy of the Fifth Sunday of Easter/A.
Jesus wants to strengthen his disciples in faith and promises them a place with him.
He is the way that leads to the Father and His revealer: those who believe in Him become capable of doing His works and even greater ones.
The faithful form a spiritual building with Christ: they are his chosen, holy, priestly and royal people who have obtained mercy from the Lord.
May the Lord increase our faith so that we too can, in His name, live authentic love by working in charity towards our brothers.
