Baptism, which marks the beginning of Jesus’ mission to all humanity, is the cornerstone of Christian baptism.
The Gospel speaks of a manifestation of the divine Trinity that confirms Christ’s identity and mission. For Christians too, baptism is the beginning of a new relationship with the Divine Persons and a mission in the world, for the benefit of our brothers and sisters.
Let us entrust all the faithful to the protection of the Archangel.
Let us pray that the Lord may grant us to recognize, preserve, and nurture the gifts that, through Baptism, we have all received in abundance.
