On the solemnity of June 29, we celebrate the memory of the two great pillars of the Church: Peter and Paul.
On Saint Peter, Jesus founded the Church, giving him authority, that is, the power to bind and loose.
Saint Paul, at the end of his life, having fought the good fight of faith, awaits the crown from the Lord.
Both become an example for all those who have a pastoral task in the Church, to be carried out with dedication and enthusiasm, despite the difficulties!
Let us entrust all the faithful and devotees to the protection of the Archangel and together let us invoke the Spirit to give us unshakable faith and missionary courage, like those experienced by the two apostles.
