On Sunday 17 March the Peregrinatio of the relic of Giuseppe Moscati in Monte Sant’Angelo ended.
An event that recalled the presence and participation of many faithful, who were able to “follow” the Neapolitan saint in prayer and deepening in the various city parishes. The contribution of the Jesuit Father Tommaso Guadagno, promoter of the cult and a passionate divulger of the virtues of this physician, was precious. He decided to dedicate his life to the physical and spiritual care of the poor in charity. In this sense, the visit of the relic to the elderly and the sick was very significant.
The sacred remnant arrived in the Basilica on Sunday morning, welcomed by the rector, Fr. Ladislao Suchy, and then enthroned in the presbytery next to the picture that faithfully portrays the appearance of the “doctor”: also for the pilgrims it was a happy occasion of veneration and “meeting” with this Saint to whom they have faithfully addressed supplications of intercession for healings and health.
In the evening, the film was shown in the “Bronislao Markiewicz” Auditorium “Giuseppe Moscati. L’amore che guarisce”.
