The gaze turned to Heaven: the celebrations of 1 and 2 November

In the liturgical calendar, the first two days of November indicate and remind us of the ultimate goal of human existence: eternal life in communion with God.

The Solemnity of All Saints presents the Heavenly Jerusalem and proposes as models to imitate all those who have already reached it having lived in faith and charity; the commemoration of the faithful departed is an opportunity to turn their thoughts to those who have already completed their earthly journey and, at the same time, constitute a warning about the transience of this world.

On 1 November the Holy Masses will be officiated according to the festive schedule: 7.30 am – 9.00 am – 10.30 am * – 12.00 am – 3.30 pm – 4.30 pm – 6.00 pm *.

On 2 November the Eucharistic Celebrations will all take place in the Basilica ** at 8.00 am – 9.30 am – 11.00 am * – 3.30 pm – 5.30 pm.
