With Palm Sunday the Holy Week begins.
This day begins with the festive welcome given to Jesus in Jerusalem: the blessed olive branches recall those stirred up by the crowd that acclaimed him Master and Messiah.
That same crowd – the evangelical reading of the Passion reminds us – will want it immolated on the cross.
The celebration of “Le Palme” was presided by the Rector, Fr. Ladislao Suchy, and inaugurated the streaming broadcasts that in the days to come will allow many faithful to be able to connect with the Celeste Basilica and follow the functions that will take place there.
