Feast of Mercy

A festival entirely dedicated to the love of God … the one celebrated on the second Sunday of Easter!

The Feast of Divine Mercy was established in 1992 by John Paul II. In reality, it was Jesus himself, appearing in a vision to Sister Faustina Kowalska, to express the desire «that there be a feast of Mercy».

In this special Sunday, therefore, the Risen One presents himself to the disciples, encourages them, and invites them to be believers and no longer unbelievers.

The Holy Masses on Sunday “in albis” will take place according to the usual public holidays (7.30 – 9.00 – 10.30 – 12.00 – 16.00 – 17.30 – 19.00).

The Eucharistic Celebration at 10.30 will be presided by Mons. Domenico D’Ambrosio, Archbishop Emeritus of Lecce, and will be broadcast (as well as that of 19.00) in live streaming.
